There are some special rules importing a classic and it's more or less the only way we can get a decent car in without paying in blood to the Norwegian state.

I see that the 280SL is the most desirable of the vehicles, conclusion just by looking at the asking price.
Which engine has issues? where to look for rust?

I did see there was a linq to an article about the 107 series, but the linq did not work?

The model year I'm looking at is up to and including 1982.

Those two happy circumstances combined to keep the car safe.

The empty spot is where the 107 usually resides. The leafy branches arefrom the tree leaning across the top of the two containers.



Here's the tree leaning over the containers.



This is how the space above the containers is supposed to look, minus the logs and chips of course. Thank God I bought a chainsaw a few years ago. That's the neighbor's yard and red shed. You can see the tree with the freshly sawed end at the top of the picture.




Bad lighting but this is the tree almost cut down to the stump.
