The interior is in surprisingly good shape. Paint is tired and it needs a dent repaired above left rear wheel well. What do you guys think? It looks to need a lot of work with dents and accident damage. I also believe the front bumper is on upside down. Never a good sign for the history and care during its previous years.

They have a 'decent' following, considering their rarity. They only made about 2600 or so, each year they were sold in the states. The bumper is on correctly. That is a spot for the Euro tag:

I've been quoted $2300 to $2600 for a complete trim removal and paint. That includes dent repair (I would hope so). A person could easily find about 6 or 7 grand tied up in this thing.

It is perfect however. I was led to believe that this one wouldn't be worth more than $7000 or so, when it's finished. But, I guess it depends on the quality of the workmanship and original content. I've seen them on the web for as high as $20,000. Edited by cmitch 5/20/2008 5:18 PM

No rust on the rockers or anywhere else. Seems that the car was probably garaged throughout most of it's earlier years. The right side has no damage, at all. The left front fender needs to be repaired or replaced and the left rear quarter needs work. I have a local place that can straighten the bumper and rechrome it. I'm seriously considering bringing it home and restoring it. I did notice that the steering wheel was cracked, a common problem with most older cars. There is some finish blistering on the wood interior but no cracks anywhere. I would attribute the finish blister to some dumbass using Armor-All on it, a big no-no for earlier wood finishes.
