Tires 400E

I come here looking for ideas for an all around tire for a 400E. What kind of tires do you run and/or prefer? I have not bought passenger car tires since 1979, as I have owned 4x4 trucks most of my driving life and cars that I have owned already came with tires that I never had to replace. My old W123 and W126 both had Michelin Harmony (coincidence) and seemed to do fine for my casual driving which is 60 miles freeway roundtrip commute each day with no stop and go traffic.
I have read tire reviews all around the net but nothing seems to conclusive. I trust most of you here as I see some familiar faces from the Gwagen forum. So what works for you guys for an all-season tire ? I am more concerned with performance, comfort and an occasional wet/snowy road and not tire wear longevity and price.

Mike
P.S. I am not an official W124 owner yet, as I am awaiting title to come through in the next 2 weeks from the gentleman selling to me. I am doing some homework beforehand.

I run Firestone Firehawks on my 500e. No complaints here.

RE: Tires 400E

I was considering them, but haven't seen that many reviews good or bad, as I fun the Firestones on my G. Most reviews seem to be positive toward the Michelin and Dunlop SP5000.
Thanks

I run Pirelli P3000's with no complaints. Quiet, good rain dispersion.

RE: Tires 400E

I was just ready to purchase the Firehawks...but went to the Bridgestone Potenza G009 instead. Size 215/60/15. I liked the looks and test results I read.  Only time will tell.

thanks for your thoughts guys.
