GL off road packet , manual transmition mode

What those two thinks realy mean?


There is real diff lock like G( the 3 ones) in the off road mode?

Manual transmition mode of course is not tip tronic or it is?

The off road package gives you a couple of inches more suspension height. As for manual transmission mode, just as it says, you can shift the vehicle manually or automatically.

The Off Road Package does give you a rear and center locking diffs, low range, and Adaptive Suspension (ADS).

Don't confuse that with the "Offroad Driving Program" which is a button on the center console that merely changes the brake, throttle, and traction control characteristics for offroad driving.

Yes that met with they inform me...diff lock ! May be central and rear! But its not a truck for real off....to big!

But i confes its a very nice truck to long on road travels and light off road!

Is this pkg available to us in north american market? I don't see it when building one online.

NO, there is no low range t-case on the NA market version of the GL or ML

There is no rear or front diff lock available either.

Unless I missed it, there is no diesel for 2012 for the GL (or R) either in NA ... Their down loadable brochure lists the diesel though ...
