Climate control question.

OK on normal. Cool air coming out, AC working.

Turn on defroster and hot HOT air comes out. Even with wheel spun all the way blue.

Hit the other button and it goes back to cool.

In other words, everything is fine and working as it should.

This is really heated air. Like a blow torch. Certainly would melt ice, but does not do well defogging.

That is where the 'bi-level" button comes in...compressor kicks in, shut vents a bit on the lower areas and you get a bit more air to the windshield.
