He let me drive it a couple weeks ago. AWESOME. You do not feel like you are driving a truck. Quick acceleration, quiet and a great turbo whine. I am trying to convince him to get the MB grille kit but he likes the idea of driving a Freightliner. I will keep working on him. i drove a mid length wb... its just like a car and that VNT turbo spools nice and fast.. the mb grill kit means you need a different hood or modify the current one. No you dont! The dodge sprinter grill just covers that small half circle cut where the orginal mercedes benz grill supposed to be!

The FTL grille and Dodge grille cover up the cut out with fake chrome. Easy swap out. Plenty of kits offered on ebay. One of the local private Ambulance services has a Sprinter ambulance. http://www.newenglandambulance.com/services.htm They were driving down the highway when the sliding side door blew off. For some reason they don't like it anymore. I told them if they rebadged it to a Mercedes, that would have never happened. Edited by Roch207 9/27/2006 6:47 PM
