| THROTTLE UP ISSUE
I have a 1994 sl 500 .The car has 123k on it it has been babied.However the car has a throttle up problem.If the throttle is givin slow the car will excellerate smooth..However if you stab the throttle the car makes a really faint popping noise coming from the throttle body inside the intake And will not throttle up with any power..I replaced the caps and rotors ass well as the plugs..Car idles smooth with no noise whatsoever...Worn cam? Bad timing chain? Any help would be greatly thanked .I am a mechanic of cars and motorcycles by trade but do not know much on these Mercedes sl 500-- But i will because i love this car |
