| What are you using for your windows?
I have tried a bunch of stuff on the windows so far I have found that using rubbing alcohol works the best since when it dries it leave no trace. Anyone else have any good products? |

yea, alcohol is good for everything  J/K.
But seriously, rubbing alcohol is very good. you are right AndrewAZ. It gets a lot of oils, and stuff off too. But, do you just take a bottle of rubbing alcohol, and just pour it on your windshield, and wipe it off? |

I use a cloth I got from the supermarket.
They have a whole range of mitts that you either use wet or dry depending on the application, but you don't need to use cleaners or soaps.
The one for glass you dampen and wipe - no streaks, takes of the plastic fumes in new cars (my wifes) best thing I've found.
I use one to wash the car as well - no soap, just water. |

My favorite glass cleaning product is Wurth Sabesto. Pleasant, mild smell, and the least streaky product I have used yet. It goes on kinda like shaving foam.
The most important item for cleaning glass is not the cleaning solution. It is the towel. Try using a microfiber cloth with a waffle weave. It is fantastic for a streak-free wipe. I sometimes use it dry (no glass cleaner) and this also works well (although it tends to grip the glass). |

Try wiping up your cleaning solutions with newspaper, it doesn't leave streak marks
I stand by it as a great way to clean windows, not because I'm cheap (which I am) but because it works |

I am using Meguiar's NXT glass cleaner and the Meguiar's Glass Duo-Fiber Towel .No streaky windows on my benz.

The best thing I have found (and I have tried a LOT of things) is Stoner's Invisible Glass and a microfiber cloth or newspaper.
Once or twice a year, I polish the glass or use detailing clay to get the really stubborn crud off. |

I used to use that but I could always see a hazy layer left by it and could never get it clean. My eyes are very good and I am just a picky person and I usually spend 30mins cleaning my windshield lol I clean it drive the car around the block come back clean it retest it until everything is clean. I know I have a problem lol. I also cant stand it when people mess with the A/C vents I always make sure to make them all level and nice. |

For day to day cleaning....Stoners Invisible Glass and newspaper is hard to beat. I go to the local newspaper publisher and get the tail end of the newsprint rolls that they throw out that dont have any print on them.
For occasional deep cleaning, use some old detailers clay. For VERY deep cleaning ues a polish called cereum oxide and a RO polisher. |

I know I have a problem. Just recently I went out with this new girl and OMG first thing that everyone does when they are new in my car "is that touch screen" (MCS) and they always touch it when they say it... Why can you just ask and dont touch... Its get better then she reached over and closed some of the air vents and move some of them... How hard is it to say "I am cold can we turn it down". To add insult to injury she had some black pants on that bled into my nice light gray leather. If you are wondering... I have not talked to her since and its been a week and a half. |

Guys, what about removing hardened waterspots? apparently, the previous owner didn't really clean the windows often that waterspots are all over it and its hard to remove using regular window cleaner.. (compared to my 5yo toyota that i bought new.. not a single waterspot on the window) |
