You can see pictures of the new wheels on www.mbusa.com. MB pushed the price of the SL550 up to close to $96K. I suspect we will see similar increases on other models when the 550 engine is released across the product line.
yea, that's definately true. But it ruins the whole 500 thing. no more S 500, SL 500, etc. It was always cool if you had an S500 to park next to another S500, or if you had a SL 500, you could park next to an SL500, but now, all of that fun is gone. Not really a big deal, but whatever...
At least that minor bit of fun has been replaced with 5 more liters which equals 5 times more fun.   |
