W209 CLK 220 CDI with AMG kit Suspension settings

Does anyone out there have any experience of excessive front tyre wear on these CLK models. I have had the suspension reset twice by MB main dealer and MB independent when new fronts fitted but each time the outside edges of the front tyres wear excessively, well before the rest of the tyre. We are running Michelin Pilot Sports 225/40/18 on the front and the same 255/35/18 on the rear. All the suspension joints and linkages have been checked and are ok and now my very trusted mechanic is taking things back to basics to reset the suspension. I was wondering (independently from my mechanic, what the factory settings are, for the suspension. And if anyone else has encountered and/or cured the problem). These tyres are expensive and not wearing correctly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
