| Gear Selector Stuck In Park - R230
I have recently encountered the proverbial stuck in Park mode and have searched various forums to establish a way of removing the ESM, unfortunately I have loosened the wood veneer surround, but can't get it over the shifter rod, due to the angle of the shifter! Alternatively, is their a way of getting access to the ESM lever that has either broken or jammed and releasing it or will I have to cut the metal gear selector shaft off and reweld it later? and does any body have an exploded diagram of the ESM?
Any help would be appreciated! |
