Well, I have been noticing a slight issue... made apparent by our relatively "Cool" Winter, this year.

My Coolant Temperature Rise has been on the "Slow" side, and sometimes barely making it to 80C during a 7 Mile Commute.

To make matters worse, I have seen (with my Own Eyes this time!) the Cappuccino/Mayonaise goop under the Oil Cap.

This confirms my presumptive diagnosis of a "Lazy" Thermostat. Not out-right FAILED... but rather "Leaking" or Not Fully Closed.

For those folks with a M113 engine, it is the same procedure (per WIS).
