I bought the BT module from Germany and installed under the instruction. Anyway, I failed to find the MB Phonesystem on my mobile. I have tried to pair Nokia 6111/6230i/6270/6280. All failed ! This was just posted at BW: Notes on using the BT system. ====================================== Holding down the MB logo on the BT module for 2 seconds put the BT module into active mode (rapid LED blink) ANSWER / DIAL / PICK UP: Gives you a list of phones that are nearby or the "search" feature. (on COMAND only) CLICKING ON THE PHONE: Gives you the pairing code (16 digits) Other notes ====================================== a) When the pairing is good the system disconnects and then starts up again. If your phone is NOT set to AUTOMATIC then the phone will ask you for pairing permission. b) To set the AUTOMATIC feature you must look at the pairing profile for the MBPHONE profile inside the phone. c) There are two kinds of profiles in Bluetooth being used. One is for SIMM ACCESS PROFILE (to answer calls) and one is for SERIAL PROFILE (only used for phonebook). That means if you setup the phone the first time it will reboot twice. If you set the phone to AUTOMATIC then you will not need to answer the ACCEPT request on the phone. d) "0000" + "DIAL" does download the phonebook but it disconnects first. e) If your SIM has a pin code it will ask for it each time you enter the car. If you leave the car and do not walk far away then the car will ring and not the phone. f) Once you tamper with the phone settings in paired mode the phone will disconnect from the car. Don't be put off by the phone rebooting the system. __________________ Modz ... enjoy the difference. www.benzmodz.com -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Last edited by miroj : Today at 05:05 AM.

y1mrn Date registered: Dec 1899 Location: Vehicle(s): | RE: Mercedes Bluetooth Adapter hello all, looking at some of the photos in this post I can see that some of you have successfully managed to pair a motorola v3(i). I have a clk 270 with a UHI/MHI interface, I also have the bluetooth SAP v2 adaptor b67876125. I am having difficulty pairing my v3i with the unit. I have sucessfully managed to pair a nokia 5500 so I'm assuming the unit isnt faulty and I am following the right procedure. The unit recognises the v3i but after the 16 digit code pops up the phone doesnt prompt for the code and a low pitch descending tone is emitted. I would appreciate your help. Thank you.

DavidG Date registered: Dec 1899 Location: Vehicle(s): | RE: Mercedes Bluetooth Adapter and V3 Razr Could I add another plea for an answer to this last query? Down here in Oz I've just picked up the BT module (V2) to fit to a 2006 W211. I get exactly the same symptoms; COMAND can see the phone (Motorola V3) and displays the passcode, but there's no prompt to the phone to input the code and complete the pairing process. Cheers David G

DavidG Date registered: Dec 1899 Location: Vehicle(s): | RE: Mercedes Bluetooth Adapter, Razr V3 Dear all, an update to my earier thread. I've resolved the issues of getting the MB Bluetooth to pair with a Motorola V3. 1. I have the MB Module with Bluetooth (part number B67876125). This is v2 of the module, and was presented to me by the dealer as a "gift" when I collected my new W211 E350 last month. 2. I'm now confident that this module will not talk to the Motorola; as others have noted, it can "see" the phone but is unable to send the PIN needed to pair the two together. 3. Advice here in Australia was to use the Motorola V3 cradle (part number B67875868). This permits the phone to connect either by docking or by Bluetooth. My dealer has quoted me A$357 but there's a wait time of about 6-8 weeks to get one out here. I am a very impatient person, and so I took a punt that the cradle WOULD work and ordered one from MB Milton Keynes in England; the price is pretty much the same. Here's the link to their page: http://shop.mercedes-benzofmiltonkeynes.co.uk/catalog/product_info.... 4. What fabulolus service; ordered on 5 May and in my Canberra, Australia postbox today (14 May). Total cost, incl p/p stg pounds 154.99 (A$369.00). Took 2 minutes to fit it in and pair to the V3. Phonebook automatically downloaded, and the whole thing works like a charm. 5. I'll now wait for delivery of the second cradle and it will go into my spouse's W209. She too has a V3, and I've tested it OK in her car with "my" cradle. Cheers David G.

chalk Date registered: Dec 1899 Location: Vehicle(s): | Re: Mercedes Bluetooth Adapter Hi, I read all you guys info and I need help here. I need to upgrade my E320 2001 wagon from Time Port TDMA to GSM platform. There are two option may be cheaper than dealer's deal. Dealer need $180 for PSE and $180 for V60 Cradle and $380 for Punk. Other options are 1. MBenzNL.com 's Nokia 6310i Kit with UHI upgarde , Do not know whether use dual band antenna roof or glass mount. 2. Mike-box attached to PSE and use the GSM handset antenna, which it means a reduction in transmission power. Do not underestimate the car antenna. I have a Porsche 997, 2006 CarraraS, even I use SIM card into the system order from Germany. Signal strength is weak in certain area of the city. This is the major concern of not using the car antenna system Dealer's option will use handset antenna too.

Sam If you have this V60 cradle/bluetooth adapter installed in your Mercedes vehicle you can use the antenna connection/cable from the original MB phone prewire for another cradle which you might want to have to charge your bluetooth enabled phone while in the vehicle. The V60 bluetooth adapter doean't need this antenna connection any longer. The connector is a Mini UHF, and you would need a male Mini UHF connector/adapter to whatever the new cradle needs (probably a female FME connector). This could improve your cell phone service drastically inside the vehicle....... Karl
