Photo DIY - Rear Spring Replacement... Lazy-Method

Well, after noticing some funky "Wallowing" sensation on our rough roads... I took a peek at the rear springs, and found a Bustafied Left-Rear Spring on the old W460.

Despite me Routinely Applying Anti-Corrosive Agents? Guess the 37 year-old springs finally decided to give up the ghost.

This would also explain why the 'Bride of Frankenstein' had a bit of a Saggy-Butt (the Rear Tire-to-Wheel-Well Space being much narrower than the Fronts).

Pretty Impressive, these trucks!! To have a Broken Spring, but have practially NO Symptoms??

After reviewing the WIS document, I opted to NOT to do the Prescribed Dropping-of-the Axle in order to R/R the Springs. Sooooo, since I had a SAFE Klann Compressor? I decided to take a more LAZY approach, and simply remove the springs with Axle in-situ.

I went for the EuroTruck Importers "SACHS yellow-orange equivalent springs".

**PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE*** Automotive Springs are ***DEADLY***!!!!!! If you don't have the Skill Set?? **DO NOT ATTEMPT**!!!!!!
