Located in Vancouver, BC I originally imported it from Germany in May 2003 with 150,300km New MWM 4.07TCA SPRINT 2.8L Intercooled Diesel Engine installed at 181K km in early 2007, Vehicle now has 228,600 km. New GM NV4500 5-Speed OD Manual Transmission installed with the diesel engine. Front and Rear hydraulic locking differentials. Extrem-Motorsport.de (German Offroad Specialist) G-Wagen 75mm lift coil springs. Front radius arm offset caster correction bushings installed, resulting in good highway/ tracking manners. Amsoil Bypass oil filtration system and Walbro diesel lift pump installed. Averages 10-11 L/100km (26 mi/gal-IMP, 22 mi/gas-US) fuel economy. Upgraded 3 core radiator with high capacity Volvo/Taurus 2 Speed electric fan. Custom Bar and Plate core intercooler from Extreme Turbo Systems,Vancouver,Wa.. New Windshield. Cummins Diesel air intake electric grid heater for very cold weather starting. Cooper Discoverer LT235-85/R16 ATR 10 Ply M&S tires at 75-80% tread remaining. Sound body and chassis with remarkably little rust. Original Paint, which is still pretty good for a 30 years old vehicle and therefore is also not hiding or masking any underlying rust under a new paint job. I have used this vehicle primarily as a camping platform with a roof top tent and mostly stored it inside in the winters. Hence the low traveled kms over the last 14+ years. This is a vehicle you could really want if you were inclined to travel the Pan-American Highway from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska to the Southern tip of Chile. The MWM Sprint Engine (a division of Navistar International Corporation) was one of the most widely used small diesel engines in South America. Vehicles including Chevrolet S10 PUs and Blazers, Nissan XTerra & Frontier PUs, VW LT2 Commercial Trucks, Brasilian manufactured Troller Jeeps, Brasilian Agrale Commercial vehicles and and others used this sophicated and durable multi-valve OHC high speed diesel engine. It uses the reliable standard Bosch VE Mechaninal Injection System from the mid 2000's Professional Vehicle inspections welcome. This is a Unique Vehicle in very good condition and well maintained.
