I heard G’s have an issue with leaks in that area so if this turns out to be the case will it be covered under warranty?

I heard G’s have an issue with leaks in that area so if this turns out to be the case will it be covered under warranty? Hearing of G's being prone to leaks in that area is a first for me, and I've owned G's since 1984. In my memory, it's never been mentioned on this forum. Please complete your My Profile to tell us the year and model of your G, as well as where you're located. That information helps us to get to know and help you better with your questions. Thanks.

For a longer term test, push some brown paper towels up against it and see if they show signs of getting wet.
