2015 Leaking Windshield

I have a 2015 and just last week I noticed some blue residue down at the base of the windshield on the right side that looks a lot like windshield washer fluid. I heard G’s have an issue with leaks in that area so if this turns out to be the case will it be covered under warranty?

Hearing of G's being prone to leaks in that area is a first for me, and I've owned G's since 1984. In my memory, it's never been mentioned on this forum.

Please complete your My Profile to tell us the year and model of your G, as well as where you're located. That information helps us to get to know and help you better with your questions. Thanks.

2015 G550. I’m located in Philadelphia.

I remeber reading about leaking windshields but maybe I’m mistaken. Either way there’s a blue residue there.

Peel up the inside lip of the rubber and see if any water pours out.  For a longer term test, push some brown paper towels up against it and see if they show signs of getting wet.
