Speaker grills for rear doors

I got tired of having to replace mine every couple of years when the plastic fatigues and breaks, so I had a friend fab up some steel ones...

They fit perfectly - the only thing I might add is some mesh speaker cloth on the backside, but I dont' foresee having to replace these again.

If anyone is interested in these, let me know, I may be able to have him fabricate some more. Not sure what the price would be as he owed me a favor.

These look great! I would definitely get a set, my kids always seem to kick them.

RE: Speaker grills for rear doors

Must be a good friend. That's a LOT of little square holes to cut. I'd be inclined to make them out of two pieces. Cut the perimeter and round hole out of a flat plate and tack some square perforated metal to the back of it. Might be a "close second" option if the all-cut ones are too dear.

Good to hear from you Bob. Hope all is well.
