Yes super interesting. You can see how the chassis side rails are still dead-strong in those side impact tests its easy to see the sled or pole come to a dead stop right where the chassis side rails are.

However, in the offset frontal crash you can see how the chassis has been systematically "weakened" to crush rearward in a controlled manner. I think you can see the alterations made to the chassis (like slots in the side) in another previous thread where someone posted a model of the chassis.

It would be interesting to see that chassis in person to see how they've altered it to score so well in these tests. It's very inspiring indeed to see the occupants so gently buffered around by air bag pillows during such violent crashes.
