Front left marker light not coming on after heavy rain

We had some heavy rains here in socal the last few weeks and some water was flung up under the inner fender and shorted out my front left parking and marker lamps. Ive replaced both lights and cleaned the connections with electric cleaner, but only the parking lamp is coming on. Using a voltage meter, it seems like the FL marker plug isnt getting power, but Im unsure if that means a blown fuse or some other issue. Does anyone know if that light is controlled by a fuse or the SAM module behind the glove box? If its not a fuse how would I go about getting power back to that connector?

Edit: I recleaned the connection and left the car off for a few minutes and that seems to have fixed the issue

Follow the ground wire from the light.  Pretty decent chance the problem is where the ground it screwed to the body/frame.  Those corrode over time.  Your G is getting to the age where a thorough cleaning/greasing/retorque of all grounds would be wise.

A electronic control unit, as the name says, is controlling your lighting throughout.

When it detects a problem (like Alan mentioned) it will shut down that specific circuit, and your tester will show 0 Volts.

You need to clean the contacts of the lamp and the wiring connections, close all the doors and lock the vehicle.

Then try to switch on the lights again, if your lucky it will work again.
