Re: Poly Bushings

Desert Service Yellow bushing full kit on my MY2000 G500 for about a year. Initial feeling was, huge improvement, compared to original rubber bushings, 150K miles. One year later no regrets, NVH reduction, no abnormal noises. Motor and trans mounts were replaced with OEM at the same time.

Re: Poly Bushings

I purchased and installed a full set of the desert service yellow bushings in 2009. I estimate I've put about 100-120k miles on them. Still happy with them.

RE: Poly Bushings

Poly Bushing are good but my experience in using them on other automotive applications is that after 15 or 20 years they will be hard and will break apart...just my experience.

RE: Poly Bushings

Thanks for the tip GTO71. That would will (hopefully) be a measurable stretch longer than my stock front axle bushings lasted, but it's worth noting I should still keep my eye on them.
