Question for G63 owners

Took delivery today of a preowned 2015 G63 with 20k on the dial. It's amazing.

Here's the question. The spare tire, the wheel is not the same as the other AMG wheels and the tire is a Goodyear, which is also different. Was this the way they came from the factory or did someone switch a wheel around on this truck.

Thanks!

Sanford

RE: Question for G63 owners

Goodyear wasn't/isn't on my 15 or 18.

The spare is a different size than the other 4.

So why the tire was replaced raises an interesting question.

RE: Question for G63 owners

We sold our Spare Wheel Cover

https://www.g-wagenaccessories.com/collections/wheels-suspension/pro...

to some G63 owners, and noticed that their spare wheel was a different size, than the wheels on their vehicle.

Their G-wagen had 20" wheels mounted, while the spare wheel was a 19" one.

So I made sure to ask the owner, when receiving a new cover order, to check their spare wheel size.

And it happened also, that I got the answer: Yes. the spare wheel is 20".....

A different tire brand was never mentioned.
