Windshield wiper adjustment

Hi everyone, I just replaced the motor and all linkage under the dash. Before I put the wiper blades on, I ran the motor and turned off the switch. Then I put the wiper arms on, so they were level at the bottom of the windshield. Now when I turn them on, they travel a about 3/4 of the way up and then travel, down and go below the bottom edge of the windshield. So, I removed them and reinstalled so they sit about 1/4 the way up the glass. Now they wipe the full range of the windshield without hitting the bottom edge, but when I cut them off they are still stopping 1/4 high which blocks vision. So there must be a way to adjust this.
Thank you for your help.

Can you check the WIS in your SD Connect?

Re: Windshield wiper adjustment

Hi Dutch, that is a good idea, I’ve only used the SD connect to troubleshoot my 2002 G and 2012 ML350 and reset codes. I did not know it would connect to WIS. I’ll let u know.
Thanks
