Brush Guard Hardware?

i sent my 2015 brush guard off to be powder coated and the guy misplaced a few pieces of hardware. the specific parts im looking for are the quick connect piece that requires a special tool to remove. i need the part with the male threaded end that threads into the steel upright portion of the brush guard. in the diagram below its part# 005015

im going to call the dealership tomorrow but i figured id try here first.

thanks for your time,

RE: Brush Guard Hardware?

i found it! but for the price of a pair of them i could spend another $150 or so and get an entire brush guard off of Ebay.

Re: Brush Guard Hardware?

Not much help here but I just had my brush guard powder coated also. I didn’t send those pieces because I figured the coating would just wear off. I cleaned off any rust after disassembling them, then oiled and reassembled. Good as new. Here is a tip also, don’t lay the brush guard down on cardboard when reassembling it. Set it on something soft like a blanket. I got a bunch of micro scratches from dust and dirt in the fresh powder coat. Hopefully they buff out.

RE: Brush Guard Hardware?

thanks for the tip!

i sent those parts over by accident. at first i was only planning on having the chrome bars powder coated so i thread the pieces back onto the uprights. i brought everything with me and decided then to powder coat the entire bumper, uprights and all. thats when i forgot to take them off. my dumb fault...

Re: Brush Guard Hardware?

Were you able to find a replacement? I feel like a lot of these expensive small parts lend themselves to 3D stainless printing. Even the brush guard removal tool. It may be worth it to make some models of them now.
