Overboost fault code

Was driving to Maine today when I got a check engine light. When I got home I checked the code and it was P0224 overboost. I don’t remember hammering on the peddle at all during the drive so I’m a bit surprised. Anyway anyone have any thoughts or experience on this one? I vaguely remember reading that a boost blow off valve can be problematic on these at times. This is on my ‘15 G63 with 40k miles on it and always premium gas under my watch the last 10k miles.

Thanks

Re: Overboost fault code

I did hear back from my MB technician he said it’s an issue with the pressure transducer that controls the turbos and they can fix it. Curious if anyone else has any thoughts though.

Re: Overboost fault code

Good thing it was just the pressure sensor. My wife's Acura threw the same code and it turned out to be the turbo itself instead of just a sensor.
