My wife even complained that the steering was too hard for her. Even keeping the 2016 G from drifting and fighting the steering wheel to keep the beast in the lane. Well, I have a set of 2002 8x18's in the garage. A buddy has a set of new Michelin 275/65R18's he is willing to part with very cheap. Now the 2016 has 9.5x19's and I am concerned about offset of the 8x18's Anyway I have the 2002 wheels powder coated and set about to change them out. Well, long story short I did the change out. I cannot believe the difference in the ride and steering. No more fighting the steering wheel to keep the lane. The ride is great. Of course the tires are more narrow, but the offset is correct. The G stands like the 2002 G and I like the look. I think MB made a mistake putting on wide 19's just for looks, but that is my opinion. I am happy. Edited by GwagenLover 2/11/2020 9:20 AM

What I’ve thought was a worn suspension or steering component was remedied by a fresh set of Road Force balanced tires.

The original owner was my best friend and he passed away a few years ago. The family treats me like I am family. I am a frequent visitor and it is a place to hang out. I fix anything that I am asked to do that my skill set and old body will allow. Benefits are enormous as I get free inspections, tire changes and rotation, oil changes, free car washes and any help that I need. I however do not wear my welcome to the point that I become a moocher without offering to pay. Most men do not know just how great it is to have someone that has you back when you are getting old and worn. I am blessed and know how to appreciate my friends. just like you guys here on the forum. Edited by GwagenLover 2/11/2020 9:32 AM
