Re: Newer G-Wagons

JamesG - 5/24/2020 9:08 PM I had a 2002, sold it and three years ago I bought a 2011 M.B. certified used G550. Relatively problem free but I can't lock my diffs in high range; a bummer. I put 16" wheels on it, fox shocks and OME springs. I am happy with it.

Can this be overwritten? Worst case scenario, you could bypass the buttons and energize the vacuum solenoids.

late reply; Both good ideas, however I'm afraid I would screw something up lol. I'll somehow suffer through it and go really slow.

Re: Newer G-Wagons

Karl and Alan figured out how to unlock the sequential nature of the lockers so they can be locked in any order. Also to turn off ESP at any speed without activating the center diff. It may just be a matter of triggering a ground or adding a signal wire to the locker switch pack so that it thinks the car in in 4 LO.

I would hope one of those 2 members could chime in on this.
