Has anyone been down this road and found the needed hardware separately from say a MB dealer? Perhaps someone could help with part numbers? Thank you all!

Small parts cost up to and more than $100 per piece. Better to find a complete brush guard that has been removed from a G and is not a Made in China copy. They are out there. A cheap $150-$300 incomplete brush guard will end up costing you the same as, or more than, a $500-$700 complete unit. Some of the no hardware units are stolen as well, easy to do with the correct tool. I recommend searching Craigslist in the large metropolitan areas within driving distance of your residence. You will find one within 6 months guaranteed. For example: https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/pts/d/tujunga-wagon-brush-guar... Edited by otiswesty 6/15/2020 11:35 PM

I just gave away on Craigslist two bull bars (one cut, but genuine MB and one knock-off) with mounting hardware and the special tool. I would have preferred to have given it to a forum member. Should have kept the special tool though because it is missing from my new G. Bummer.

I did find one on CL in Denver for $400, Im going to pick it up next weekend. The uprights will need some love though, powdercoat I imagine. Now to solve my damaged front bumper issue. Is a sub $1000 tow pin bumper a pipe dream? I have had little success finding one. Maybe I should just stick with the non-pin version.
