| 1995 G300 W463 Cluster Odometer repair
Before I set out to open up the instrument cluster and replace whatever is broken in the odemeter. I wanted to buy an old cheap instrument cluster that looks like mine from ebay.
I wanted to know which model cluster looks closest to the 1995 W463 one? Any ideas will be great, that way I can have enough practice on the dummies :-) |

E class W124 to the W210 chassis are pretty much the same. If you G has more of the electronic displays at the bottom then the W210 would be the way to go.

I was under the impression that the W124 equivalent cluster has the speedo cable coming out at a different angle. Check the back side before buying. Also ratios may be different.

For my 1995 G320, I was able to buy a new MPH speedometer from the dealer 2 years ago.

The speedo cable connection does come out a bit different but can still work. The Speedo will need to be recalibrated to the Gs set up. |
