Your opinions please

Currently I have 16x8" R129 SL wheels on
Recently I got some older style R129 wheels which are also 16x8", these are a similar style to the factory 15" wheels most of us are used to, just bigger
I really like both types, but until I can pick up a cheap set of tyres I'll have to switch my existing tyres if I want to change

The older style wheels are actually sitting in my garage with no tyres on, the pics here with them on are only photoshopped

OK here's what I'm wearing now

...and here's my option, remember they're 16" not the usual W126 15"

Something else I've been thinking about is to have the centres painted black on my current wheels (first pic) which I think might look good with the machined lip which I'd have polished for more shine
The only qualm I have with this is that they're only 16's which seems a bit small for this type of thing

18" AMG Aero II Monoblocks, the one's on the W210 E55, are my absolute favs
Replicas are an option, though I'd prefer AMG's, which of course are very hard to find and very expensive, I'm quite happy to wear smaller rims for now

I just bought some lowering springs off Trade Me, will have them fitted Friday
Having my car sit up so high is what has detered me from big wheels in the past, so having it lowered may turn my attention to bigger rims...great, spend money just so I can spend more money

So true, to be serious I would not even bother with real AMG, I saw some on a benz a 190 and they must have been worth more than the car the only difference was the little AMG on them but I bet you could even get that engraved or stamped on after, what are they worth new anyway 1600 each or something stupid?

OK if I was to go with anything outlandish, it'd be something like these deep dish wheels

How does 19x12.5" sound?
