Separate Body from Frame - 1999 MB G320 (W463)

Hello, I have 1999 MB G320 (W463). Due to heavy rust, I want to completely clean, sandblast and repaint the frame and underbody. To do this once and correctly, I want to remove/separate the body from the frame, but I wasn't able to find detailed, step-by-step instructions anywhere. I would be very grateful for your help and advice on how to do it correctly, more efficiently and avoid costly mistakes. Thank you in advance for your help...

I think sand blasting the frame and recoating it can be successful.

However, the G body is much thinner metal and sand blasting will expose many pin holes. You may be better served by selling the car and getting one that is rust free or if you know it is perfect or very good mechanically, performing a body swap. Consider using a LWB soft top or a single cab body. Both are available from Europe. It is a lot of work and the reward is the end product after much time and money. Fixing a rusty body is only a temporizing solution as it will surely return unless the car is kept garaged and dry from that point forward.
