I can now smell fuel in the cabin. I have inspected the line from the tank and it seems okay. There's also no smell in the engine bay but I can smell it at the back when I take the panel off. I've been thinking perhaps I haven't closed the panel back properly. Any ideas?

My guess is that it is universal.

The breather valve -A0004762232 has a mind of its own. I have ben hearing some weird sounds in the back of the car since I got the car and had always wondered what that could be, now it's all making sense. I forced some pressurised air into the nose and it seems to be happily working, I don't get any smells now however I am getting the intermittent engine cut out very similar to when you have contaminated fuel. I suspect the unit may have been in a zombie state all along but threw a wobbly when I went poking around. I'll replace it and see how I get on. Edited by King_GH 7/26/2021 2:53 PM
