What tires do you run on?
I am not talking only about your Mercedes, but also, if you have other cars as well.
I think I got most of the tire companies. If your tire company is not listed, add it.

I have BFGoodrich on the 300 SE, not too impressed with those. The 500 SEL has Contis on the rims but one tire went out of round so I have the stock rims on now with Dunlops. The 123 has the mix-and-match house brands.
The plan: get tires for both sets of 16 inch CLK rims and put them on each 126, put the stock 500 SEL rims on the 123, they’re 14 inch but wider but not too wide to fit. The 15 hole 15 inch rims will be stowed away or sold.

Plan to fit the Element with Dueler Alenzas before the winter after next. |

The ML is on Continental tires, and the Dodge is on Goodyears. Pretty good, but the Conti's are a little noisy. |

My 92 SEL came with Pirellis, since there were "vib" issues they changed to Michelins with a lower speed rating. I have gone up and down in speed ratings, The best tires so far have been Turanzas, that were road force balaced. I have purchased too many Michelins. The reason they are geting so many votes is they are typically installed and MB dealers sell them at top price.

On the 300CD, Dunlop 225/60x25 Sport SP's on MB 15" R8 '93 wheels, same tires on the 300SD but on regular 15" '86 wheels. On the TR6, 185R15 Michelin Redlines on factory wire wheels. On the '81 GL280E 31x10.50 Goodyears |

On my W126 I'm running Kumho Ventus HRII's at the front and Bridgestone Potenza Grid III's at the rear
On my W116 it's Goodyear Eagle NCT3 all-round and on my Ford Fairmont it Firestone Firehawks all-round
