^^^^

That would be a good wreck to see which one is stronger. But I would hate to see a W126 die for something stupid like that.

Sorry about that. The pic had the other forums name on it.
I wish there was a way to edit a pic after you've posted it.

Heh..

When I had my 83 240D some a$$hole plowed into my passenger side door at 55MPH with a 1988 Oldsmobile coupe..BIG CAR.

I drove the car home, my girlfriend sitting in the passenger seat was fine, the class didn't even give her a cut. I drove the car for two months with plastic over the window. The other guy was messed up, his car was towed, and the gauze from my standard issue Benz medical kit helped stem the flow of blood from his cheek.

But I digress..whenever I see a Toyota echo, or any tiny Jap car for that matter, I wonder how it would deal with a head on collision from my W115 with its HUGE US spec "safari guard" bumpers...

wow, I can imagine how bad that guy must have felt after running into you. Well, as I like to say, "That's what you get for messing with a Mercedes-Benz."

A similar type of accident happened with me, and my previous 1995 S Class. A young driver ran into me with his early generation Honda Civic, I think it was an '88 or so, and he got some nasty cuts after an accident with a big body Mercedes S500. Unfortunately, because of his foolishness, my car was a total loss, because the damage was very close to the worth of the car at the time, (It was only Last Year). The damage was an unbelievable $21,000, and the car was realistically worth AT MOST, $20,000

Then, I got the '96. My '95 was a great car though.

yea, it was. Plus, getting into an accident shocks you for a pretty long time. Its pretty scary. Yea, at least I could also upgrade by 1 year, and to a new color.

A car I loathe vs another car I loathe

Lexus GX470 vs BMW X5, for example.  There will be lots of spilled latte.
