So, does anyone have a clue as to what an '87 16 Valve is worth now?

I bought mine a few years ago, and now my wife is having trouble driving a stick shift. There is some (not much on my part) thought of selling this pocket rocket and buying something else with a Tri-Star on the hood. Initial impressions are that the pricing has gone UP on these things. anyone have a clue?

I consider the condition better then very good, but not excellent. it has 100,000 miles and all the options that were available at the time.
What were you doing, sitting there waiting for someone to post.... :-) That was avery quick response....

I would have to say anywhere from 4-6k wouldnt be out of the question, it just depends what someone would pay for it.

Interestingly enough................................

I have been told VERY well in excess of that figure. Apparently 16 Valves are going for a very serious mark up for some reason. We know that they stopped producing them quite a while ago (1987) and there are fewer of them almost on a daily basis.
Someone, supposedly in the know, told my wife we could look for something in the 5 digit range. To say the least I was stunned, but this was the second time I heard that.

It's always not what you offer, but what someone will pay. If you can sell it for that, then it would be awesome. If you can't, oh well, you'll still get a good amount for it.
