But I've heard people say that you should take a hair dryer and warm up the glue first or something like that. yea, I have heard that as well. It may be very hard to do it on the GL though, because it is a Brand New car, and the emblems were just put on...

Asian is right about the hair dryer. When you're done, you could remove any excess adhesive with Goo Be Gone and then wax the area.

BTW, I know some body shops use piano wire but I'd be leary of that as well.

I always put in the sales contract that there will be no advertising unless they pay me a marketing and advertising fee comparable to a city bus ad rate. They always seem to take it off. How would you like to pay all that money for a car and get this: (U Dick.jpg) Attachments ---------------- U Dick.jpg (17KB - 1 downloads)

They're everywhere, and when you click on it, a bunch of huge colorful words and maybe 5 pics. BTW, that's a nice E550.

KERR Date registered: Dec 1899 Location: Vehicle(s): | Re: Removing badges i always just used the hair dryer to get the "stickers" how then used my finger nail to pull up the end. after that they come off fine. IF its like a plaque deal you will have to get it hot as well and the some how cut the glue like you all said above.
