Testing Avatar, and some issues.

While just my intention to test an avatar photo, I noticed two things:

One: the forum software seems to have a size in mind for your avatar. If the image you specify is larger, it will scale it down. If smaller, it will scale up. If it has to scale it up, the more it must enlarge, the fuzzier the image gets.

Two: I use Safari browser on a Mac. When composing a post in the rich text editor, I can see what I type, but when I ask to preview a post, I first get a pop-up box which says that this forum software should be considered experimental on Safari, and then I get an error message saying that I must type something into the body of the message. (There is, of course, something there. The software doesn't see it.) When I switched to the basic editor, all worked as expected. I guess I'll just have to learn the forum code by rote if I want to do something fancy.
