Saw an R close-up today

We were on our way to a restaurant for dinner tonight and I saw what I believe ws an R500, however it could have been an R500. Looked like Capri Blue (Woot!) or Obsidian Black. It's actually smaller than it looks in pictures (outside at least), but on the inside it looks actually pretty big.

Doesn't look as much like a hearst in person.

I have seen couple of R-Class in my area, it only looks good in Black/Silver.

And, I am absolutely hate Alpine Rain on R Class, it looks weird. Same holds true for Alpine Rain w164 M Class.

Me too. I saw this R class pulling out of a parking space so I snapped a quick picture. It was being driven by a coffee drinking mom and had a bunch of rugrats in the back.

Ha Ha, that's no Mercedes.

It's the take you home when you drop your car off for service vehicle here.

It's been so long since we went to the dealer. Not that I want to or anything. I still wonder if they have any new W221 or W211s in yet.

Re: Saw an R close-up today

Alright, I may end up eating crow for this, but my wife and I saw an R320 CDI 4matic while on vacation. It was white with macadamia interior and it looked very big on the inside. My wife said "we may have to add this to the consideration list"

The countdown begins until the 50 state CDI's are available!

I saw another on the highway today on my way to the doctor's office. Pewter R350. Looked pretty good too, sport package I think.

Now she wants to drive one. I wonder if I should nip this in the bud. I don't know if I could get used to not having my target sights, er uh, hood ornament.

You wouldn't get it with the ML320 CDI, nor the G320 CDI either.

I saw another outside the musculoskeletal center in downtown yesterday. Capri Blue with what looked like 7 or 9 spoke wheels. Had a lot of wheel dust so the wheels were like the S65/SL65 wheels. Looked really sharp with the capri blue.

I *heart* the Pacifica so very much. My Sister recently got a Town & Country and I'm kind of digging the minivan thing.

They're so...... Big tippy station wagons that ride on marshmallows!! It's a very welcomed departure from all of my boys that drive and ride so harshly--

The R-Class is like the Pacifica's sister that married up. Instead of shopping at Gap, she shops at Saks now.

I love all three so much. I remember sitting inside the Pacifica at the auto show and it was very comfortable. I like how they have it as a six-seater, instead of trying to add a ridiculously small seat into one of the rows.

We have a Grand Caravan, so you probably know my opinion on the T&C.
