take a look at the shadow from the sun and you'll start to get an idea of how I do it...

Reflectors? I'm stumped. I've never tried car photography it looks hard with the way the shadows fall on the bodywork of the car.

he he he - I'll keep you guessing. You'll have to bring your beast up for a shoot and find out first hand

When are you planning a meet? I'm tied to Dunedin for exams till the 22nd then I'm off home for 3 weeks up north.

Yea I do have a week planned up there about September I think, the paintwork on my cars not that hot though, it's been repainted and some of the stone chips show through a darker colour.

Yea that is one thing I have noticed particularly with silver is that the paint colour covers up quite well from about 10 feet.

Heres a couple of pics that I took at different times, one in Auckland another in Christchurch. I did alot of B&W street photography between 2003-5.

Bloody scruffy Meter Maid blokes..nurses waiting for a taxi would be a far more worthwhile shot.

Nathan, even if we do something before then, spring will be a nice time for a GTG, so book us in to your schedule

Don't worry about problem areas of your car, it can't be worse than my 'bucket'
It looks far better in pictures than in person, with quite a few vandalism, age and 'DIY gone-wrong' scars

They are some great shots, both Photoman and NZ Benz.

Damon, I know what you mean, my car looks much better in photos than up close

RE: My new 'Black' AMG Monoblocks

Been distracted with my new toy and after last night and today the snow has taken a big hit. All that rain and high temps today... oh well I had fun in it on Wednesday, not to mention driving on Lake Lyndon!
So we need to pin down a date for this photoshoot...

I hope that lake skidder has heated seats.
Today was a glimmer of unfrozen sanity 'midst the season of cold shitty stuff weather.
Time we started a new thread though - lets see who's watching...

No worries, that's true of every car on the planet.

I always warn people about this when they want to buy a car online...

I have a major gripe with my car being from Singapore and not having heated seats, the leather is like sitting on a cold stone when I get into it, it's snowing here now too.

You know what I find interesting? It gets down to about -5, -6 here at night sometimes yet my washeer fluid does not freeze.
