It's written by an Amsoil dealer, which certainly puts a strong bias on his reports. http://autoengineer.wordpress.com/2006/10/23/2007-diesel-regulation... I am curious about his claims of short equipment life. I hope he's either wrong or exaggerating. It's interesting that he claims Amsoil was instrumental in developing the new motor oils for use in these engines, because their oil is not listed in MBUSA's booklet of approved products - only a very special type of Mobil 1 (only available at MBUSA dealers) and a Shell product. I turned 100 miles on my ML320 CDI last night and was getting 27-28 mpg (on the vehicle's computer) while it happened. | ||
