| Weathered/Hazed Over Plastic Headlights ?
While not MB lights, the same could be done for them. These were on my son's '96 Honda Civic. Took about 10 minutes on each side. I was quite amazed.

I used Meguiar's Plastix for my M Class. Worked like a charm though I need to spend a little more time on them to make them better.

DUTCH. What product did you use? Meguiar's Plastix? How about Crest toothpaste - fine abrasive? I haven't tried it on my headlight covers but I have used it on my watch "crystal" (plastic) numerous times over the years after a jeweler recommended it and it works great for taking out small scratches and making it nice and clear again.

I used the Plastic restore Kit from these folks:

Follow their directions and start with 1000-1500 grit wet sandpaper. Then use their products. It took a total of less than 10 minutes on each headlamp. I was very much amazed at how well it worked! |

You can use Meguiar's Plastx the same way. You wet sand your defect/Weathered area, then apply Meguiar's Plastx.

BTW..... If plastic is not heavily weathered. Its not necessary to wet sand before, applying your plastic cleaner. |

I would try the PlastX first before wetsanding. 9 times out of 10, PlastX is all you need. |
