RE: Detailers in Chicago Area

I'm really not trying to get this post off the original intent, but why not take this opportunity to buy yourself a Porter Cable 7424 or 7336 and read a few DIY's and make your car look great yourself?  I mean no one is going to care for your car the way you can.  Anyway.....just a thought.

You get what you pay for. In most cases.

I would suggest asking lots of questions.

1.Does the Detailer use the least aggressive methods to get the job done?

2. Does the Detailer check his work under intense lighting source?

3.What steps are involved in the process?

4. If the Detailer has to use a Rotary buffer and or wet sand. Does the Detailer checked the depth of the clear coat ,during and after the process? As not to accidentally remove too much clear coat. (If the answer is no. RUN)

5.What's the brand name of the product's, That the detailer will be using on any surface of your car?

6. How long has the particular detailer been in business?
