Hi , just wondering if anyone knew of a good salvage yard /pick a part yard here in Austin, Texas. I just moved here and have not found any, I always find good parts for my old 1982 300SD in these places.

German Star Motors, aka Mikes.
904 McPhaul, near 183 between Rundberg and Braker.
He has everything for old Benzes and will pull it for you. Saved me a lot of money when I replaced my rear wheel bearing.
Nice guy once you get to know him...
