How to de-badge...

Hi,

I'm thinking of debadging my W140 and wondered what the easiest way of achieving this is without damaging the paintwork?
Maybe use a hairdryer to soften the [11 year old] glue?

A hairdryer is overkill and isn't necessary. You can use dental floss,soft fishing line. Or you can get a soft emblem removal tool. At your local paint& bodyshop supply store. Here's a link to where we discussing this subject on the W211 section

I de-badged the Audi now.  Took awhile but looks really slick. Left the rings on of course.

And OMG I FORGOT HOW HIGH-MAINTENANCE A BLACK CAR CAN BE
