Hi everyone, My battery died, the seats were all the way back and I jumped it and then replaced the battery. My dash lights came on and I could not get the ESP, ABS lights to turn off. I tried turning the steering wheel right and left, etc. So, I took it to a independent shop (only work on MB) and they diagnosed that the control unit is bad. Ouch, these are expensive. I can't find a used one and my discount price from MB is $1,700.00. Mercedes part 4635451432 Bosch 0265109495 Has anyone taken one of these control units apart and if yes, can they be repaired? I've done a google search and called several repair shops, who then say they don't repair them. Thoughts and help appreciated. This is the last thing to fix and then sell the 2002 G500, because I bought a 2014 G550. Thank you. Alex.

Thanks Harold, I found a shop in upstate NY that says they can fix it for $275.00. I sent them the error code. I’ll update after I get it fixed. Thanks
