Re: Absolutly Ruined G

There have been many other topics on this site and other sites about "that thing" or what I have refered to as an abomination. We are hoping whoever buys it (they would be crazy in the first place to do so) would at least return the exterior to its original state (including changing the wheels). That poor G. Sob! Sob! Sob!

Re: Absolutly Ruined G

There was some video that showed a Unimog with oversized wheels trouncing over some clunkers turning them into pancakes. That was what I was thinking too.

RE: Absolutly Ruined G

I guess I will scratch my plans to put a W123 chassis front end on mine...On a side note, there was a time when Chevy Blazers and Ford Broncos were square masculine machines until the 1990's at which point the auto manufacturers themselves changed front ends to a considerably carlike appearance while retaining the vehicles roots somewhat behind the front cowling to the rear. My point being, pending on when the G was modified, we are poking fun at someone that may have been "ahead of his time", besides auto manufacturers do it and continue to. I am keeping my fingers crossed that Graz doesnt run out of body parts in 2008 and find in the back lot some overstock of W124 body parts or ?????
