Re: FS - LWB Aluminum Roof Rack/Tent Carrier

Hello, how is this clamped to the gutter?
I am looking for a low profile rack, but a bit shorter. 47 inches to be exact. Do you have a shorter version? I have checked the G-wagenaccessories website, but cannot find the short version of this rack.
Respectfully,
Otis

Dear Respectful,

If the mounting rails under your tent are 36" long or longer, you can just shorten the all aluminum tent carrier using a state-of-the-art cutting device:

The hacksaw or its bigger brother the Sawzall.

The shorter rack, even with only two mounting legs, will be a very solid mounting platform for your tent and leave ample space for a personal spare tire carrier as seen at the finer military G-wagen vehicles all over the world.

The mounting legs are clamped to the rain gutter using the proven handcrafted rain gutter clamps from the renown Baja Roof Racks.

Please contact karl@g-wagenaccessories.com for your personally cutting and fitting session. Cucumber sandwiches and tea will be served sharp at 4:05PM

Wow, the rack is so light that it hangs in midday by itself, even with the Impi clamshell on it!!!
