I recently removed the turbo in order to install an EGT probe in the exhaust manifold. I found this stuff gooping under several of the manifold ports. what is it from? relatedly, what sould I replace to get this sorted out and what else should I do while the turbo is off the car? I plan to use a turbo install kit with gaskets for the manifold and EGR valve, etc. I also ordered up a "turbo seal ring" and "turbo drain O-ring", though I am not completely sure where they go, just though while I am in there, might as well replace what I can. I know that the wastegate has been dumping oil onto the right engine mount and and plan to clean the wastegate out while it is off. Any help is appreciated. -macjack (CIMG0677.jpg) Attachments ---------------- CIMG0677.jpg (583KB - 18 downloads) | ||
