i have a bad flex disc on the driveshaft, which he will be replacing.......

he hasnt found whats wrong with my front suspension yet...........

he suspects i may have a bad steering box............

Re: Victory is Mine !!!

well, now thats its evening, its time for an update.........

the mech found a cracked brake line, which is getting replaced,

at the request of my grandma, for the sake of her painted driveway, they are washing the motor, and findind that dang oil leak, and fixing it......

i suspect its the hose going to the oil cooler..........

also, i had a broken transmission mount, that also now gets replaced........

this was the big restoration job that my car has been waiting for!

yay!

oh, and that screw, that i couldnt get into the pump, was because the ASS of a mech. that put the pump on for me (regular cars garage) broke off the head of that last screw, and left it in the thread............filling the hole......

now the good mech swears up and down that its not leaking any oil from there at all, so they will diagnose, and the screw situation will have to stay like this, probably permenantly........who knows...........arrggh !

Wholesale price on rebuilt ones is way more than that....good used is the cost effective way if you have access to pick and pull yards.
