My mate is a real BMW fan "Better handling than a BMW 7 Series" that is the best part for me . But I guess it really shows, Was watching top gear a while ago when they were looking at a W220 and Clarkson said "look at what you get in an S Class today. That is what other cars will have in 10 years". Makes me proud to own such a wounderful car. | |

| NZ Benz Expert Date registered: Apr 2006 Location: New Zealand Vehicle(s): 1993 300SEL/S320 Posts: 2555 | RE: W140 review. nomad - 5/14/2006 10:32 PM An black S500 or S600 W140 is a must car for me, I just love 'em, they're so in your face, kind of an "Up Your's!" attitude to society (especially to those pansy greens) I feel like the king of the road and every one must give way to me when I'm in my 500SEL W126, until I'm along side a W140, then, I feel more like a Duke than a King Haha, yea black would have been my first choice, but silver is nice. People move out of your way when you are moving fast through town or on teh motorway, I've even had cars move aside on a passing lane.  In a country where tall poppy syndrome is so rife it is good to have an in your face car.  | |
