Where do you ferry across? Malaga? How many hours does it take to reach the African continent? Yes, via Spain. I have been to Morocco and the Western Sahara twice, first in 2012, took the ferry from Algeciras, Spain to Tanger Med., Morocco, this time from Algeciras, Spain to Ceuta, Spain in North Africa with a fast-ferry, 45 minutes. In 2012 I was in a hurry and made the 3.200 km from my home to Tariffa , Spain to meet the travel party in 2,5 days, this time I had much better time and took it slowly and hence used a week. I will be going again in February 2015 for 6 weeks total in Morocco and Western Sahara. Travel report from 2012: http://gwagendays.com/explore/western-sahara-2012.asp?id=3 From 2014, we went as far south as latitude 23 day 1: http://gwagendays.com/explore/western-sahara-1-2014.asp?id=26 (same pictures as above, but with some words) day 2, #1: http://gwagendays.com/explore/western-sahara-2-2014.asp?id=28 (same pictures as above, but with some words) day 2, #2: http://gwagendays.com/explore/western-sahara-3-2014.asp?id=29 (just posted this minute, pictures and some words) Edited by thebigblue 12/19/2014 2:39 PM

Your French surf trip pictures brought back some nice memories of my VW LT28 Westfalia Sven Hedin camper. Also, it is nice to see a G400 out in the bush. They had such a bad rap in the first years after they came out, maybe it was a sensitive fuel system, injectors, or something like that. Obviously, yours is well sorted out and running well. thebigblue Date registered: Jan 2012 Location: Vehicle(s): | RE: Three weeks in Morocco and Western Sahara Thanks again - I did put some effort into that website (witch I did from ground up) I have been into desolated parts of Iceland, Morocco and Western Sahara on several occasions with the truck during my three years of ownership - and the G400 performed perfect with no hick-ups, and it´s sure nice to have the torque in the dunes and on highway during transit to southern Spain I will return to Morocco and Western Sahara again in late February for another six weeks of adventure, - and do some surfing in Spain on my way back up-north. And, oh, I´m still planning to ship the G to Halifax, Canada come spring 2016 and tour the country, the Americas and Mexico for at least a year.
